SUMMARY:Neurodiversity Pride week kickstart event: ND pride x Mansepride\, Silent Disco
DESCRIPTION:For the third time\, Setlementti Tampere Association is taking part in a joint event during Neurodiversity Pride Week and Manse Pride Week. These two pride weeks take place partly at the same time each year\, so with this event we want to raise awareness\, create space\, and offer opportunities for participation especially for queer people who are part of neurodivergent minorities. \n  \nThe event is intended for neurodivergent people aged 16 and over \n  \nProgram highlights: \nSilent Disco – featuring a live DJ and alternative playlists. Choose your favorite music from three (3) different channels! \nWorkshops and activities – Sign-making workshop for Saturday’s Manse Pride parade. This year we will also have our own neurodivergent block in the parade\, which will be a quiet block! \nFood and drinks\, and relaxed socializing together. \nThe event is substance-free\, and we follow the safer space principles of Setlementti Tampere Association. \nAdditional accessibility information: \nThe Hepokatti Hall has bright lighting. Music will be played through headphones\, so there will be no music played in the room itself. The space has an echo\, and sudden loud noises may occur. It is also possible to withdraw to quieter\, calmer spaces within the venue.
