SUMMARY:Martijn Dekker - Community Keynote - Neurodiversity through the years
DESCRIPTION:Community Keynote: Neurodiversity Through the Years – Martijn Dekker\nOnline | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Day 2026 |  Language: English \nNeurodiversity Through the Years is a community keynote by Martijn Dekker\, one of the early voices connected to the online autistic community and the history of the neurodiversity movement. \nThis keynote invites us to look back\, not with nostalgia alone\, but with attention. Neurodiversity did not appear suddenly as a workplace trend\, a social media phrase\, or a policy term. It grew through people finding each other\, naming their experiences\, building communities\, challenging dominant ideas about normality\, and insisting that neurodivergent people should be heard on their own terms. \nMartijn Dekker has been part of that longer history. In 1996\, he founded Independent Living on the Autistic Spectrum\, often known as InLv\, an early online space created by and for autistic people. At a time when autistic people were still very often spoken about rather than listened to\, communities like InLv helped make something else possible: autistic people speaking with each other\, developing shared language\, building culture\, exchanging support\, and shaping ideas that would later become central to neurodiversity advocacy. \nIn this community keynote\, Martijn will reflect on neurodiversity through the years: how ideas have developed\, how communities have changed\, what has been gained\, what has been misunderstood\, and what should not be forgotten as neurodiversity becomes more widely known. \nThis event connects deeply with Neurodiversity Pride Day because pride has roots. It is built on decades of community work\, self-advocacy\, shared language\, resistance\, friendship and imagination. To celebrate neurodivergent pride today\, we also honour the people and communities who helped create the conditions for that pride to be spoken aloud. \nNeurodiversity Through the Years is an invitation to listen to someone who has witnessed and contributed to the movement across many stages of its development. It is a moment to understand where we come from\, so we can think more clearly about where we are going. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Community Keynote: Neurodiversity Through the Years\nSpeaker: Martijn Dekker\nDate: June 16th\nTime: Officially 17.00\, but the video is made public allready.\nLocation: online\nLanguage: English\nFormat: community keynote\n\nAbout Martijn Dekker\nMartijn Dekker is a Dutch autistic community pioneer\, speaker and writer whose work is closely connected to the early online history of autistic self-advocacy. In 1996\, he founded Independent Living on the Autistic Spectrum\, an autistic-run online community that became part of the wider history of autistic culture and the neurodiversity movement. \nHis work has explored autistic identity\, autistic culture\, independent living\, inclusion\, and the ways autistic people have built community and language over time. Through this keynote\, Martijn brings a historical and community-rooted perspective to Neurodiversity Pride Day. \nWhat to expect\n\nA community keynote on the history and development of neurodiversity\nReflections from one of the early online autistic community builders\nAttention to autistic self-advocacy\, community\, language and culture\nA look at how neurodiversity has changed over time\nA reminder that today’s pride stands on decades of shared work and community courage\n\nThis keynote may be especially relevant for neurodivergent people\, autistic community members\, advocates\, researchers\, educators\, historians of disability movements\, allies\, and anyone who wants to understand the deeper roots of Neurodiversity Pride Day. \nJoin this community keynote and reflect on the years\, voices and communities that helped shape the neurodiversity movement we know today.

SUMMARY:Webinar: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nNavigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain is a free online webinar by Pauline Alberts\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this session\, neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts shares practical insights on how to make your brain work for you. The webinar focuses on recognising your own patterns\, understanding what drains your energy\, and learning how to use your strengths more consciously in a dynamic work context. \nThe session invites participants to discover more of their own “brain manual”: what helps you focus\, what costs energy\, what your strongest qualities are\, and how you can communicate those strengths more clearly to others. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride also begins with self-understanding. For neurodivergent people\, learning how your own brain works can be an important step toward less shame\, stronger boundaries\, more effective collaboration and more sustainable participation at work. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Pauline Alberts\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nPractical insights from neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts\nWays to identify and redirect your personal energy drains\nReflection on your own energy management and how to navigate it effectively\nGuidance on recognising and communicating your unique strengths\nImmediately applicable strategies to thrive within a dynamic context\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:Webinar: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nThe essentials of Psychological Safety in teams is a free online webinar by Geertruyt Stokes\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session explores psychological safety in teams and asks how people can collaborate more effectively when different brains\, communication styles and working preferences come together. The central idea is that radical clarity can be one of the highest forms of empathy and safety. \nThe webinar looks at the roots of collaboration friction in mixed teams. Rather than softening every message or avoiding difficult conversations\, it focuses on how clarity\, honesty and structure can help people understand each other better and work together with less confusion. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because psychological safety is essential for neuroinclusive workplaces. Neurodivergent people cannot truly thrive in teams where they have to guess expectations\, hide confusion\, mask discomfort\, or fear being misunderstood when they communicate differently. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Geertruyt Stokes\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn introduction to the essentials of psychological safety in teams\nReflection on why radical clarity can create more safety than soft language\nInsight into the root causes of collaboration friction in mixed teams\nThree concrete moves to raise psychological safety this week\nA practical workplace session for teams that want to collaborate with more trust\, clarity and inclusion\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:Webinar: Breinmeesterschap Try-out
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 19:00 – 19:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nBreinmeesterschap Try-out is a free online webinar by Linsey Berkhout and Frank Jonker\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this live try-out\, participants experience part of the Breinmeesterschap programme through group exercises and self-reflection. The session offers a practical introduction to how people can better understand their own brain patterns and use that insight in collaboration with others. \nThe webinar focuses on direct experience rather than only theory. Through a core exercise from the programme\, participants are invited to reflect on their own ways of thinking\, responding\, working and interacting. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because neuroinclusion is not only about knowing that different brains exist. It is also about learning how different brains work together\, how collective intelligence can be unlocked\, and how people can create work environments that make more room for cognitive diversity. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Breinmeesterschap Try-out\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 19:00 – 19:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: Dutch\nSpeakers: Linsey Berkhout & Frank Jonker\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\n \nWhat to expect\n\nA live experience of a core exercise from the Breinmeesterschap programme\nSelf-reflection on your own brain patterns\nGroup exercises connected to neurodiversity and collaboration\nInsight into how the programme aims to unlock collective intelligence\nA practical and interactive session for people interested in brain-friendly working\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here
