SUMMARY:The Big Autism Festival | Het grote autismefestival
DESCRIPTION:Vrijdag 12 juni 2026 | 16.00 – 22.00 uur CEST / Amsterdam time | Pakhuis de Zwijger\, Amsterdam \nTaal: Nederlands \nHet grote autismefestival is een middag en avond over autisme\, neurodiversiteit\, werk\, seksualiteit\, boeken\, kunst\, muziek\, comedy en persoonlijke verhalen. SUMMARY:Release Neurodiversity Deepdive Podcast
DESCRIPTION:Podcast Release: Neurodiversity Deepdive\nNow available on Spotify | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Week \nWe are excited to share the release of Neurodiversity Deepdive\, a new podcast by the Neurodiversity Foundation\, now available on Spotify. We’ve never shared about it\, but it’s allready ranked in the top 15 worldwide in the field of neurodiversity podcasts\, as we’ve created more than 100 podcasts for the public. \nNeurodiversity Deepdive is a growing audio library for everyone who wants to learn more about neurodiversity through books\, ideas\, lived experience\, research\, and community knowledge. In this podcast\, the Neurodiversity Foundation summarizes and explores around 125 books about neurodiversity\, making important insights more accessible to listeners around the world\, as seen through our neurodignity lens. In a world\, where we stopped reading what needs to be read\, the podcasts are conversations between 2 people resembling our neurodivergent teammembers at the HQ. \nThe podcast was created initially for internal volunteers to train themselves of the works of the most important authors in the field\, but will now be shared as a gift to the world\, for Peace & Soldarity Day. Its valuable for neurodivergent people\, allies\, educators\, professionals\, researchers\, parents\, students\, organisations\, and everyone who wants to better understand the field of neurodiversity. Each episode offers a way into one book\, one set of ideas\, or one perspective\, helping listeners discover new authors\, deepen their understanding\, and find language for experiences that are often overlooked or misunderstood. And we will grow the books to 250\, in upcoming years. \nNeurodiversity is a wide and fast-growing field. There are books about autism\, ADHD\, dyslexia\, giftedness\, Tourette Syndrome\, dyspraxia\, dyscalculia\, sensory experience\, masking\, burnout\, education\, work\, identity\, mental health\, culture\, justice\, and pride. Many of these books are powerful\, but not everyone has the time\, energy\, money\, or access to read them all. Neurodiversity Deepdive was created to help open that knowledge up. \nThis podcast is not a replacement for reading the books themselves. It is an invitation: to discover new voices\, to learn from neurodivergent authors and thinkers\, to understand the wider movement\, and to find the books that may matter most to you. \nFor Neurodiversity Pride Week\, the release of this podcast is also a celebration of neurodivergent knowledge. Our stories\, theories\, questions\, struggles\, insights\, and ways of making meaning deserve to be heard. By collecting these summaries in one place\, we hope to support more people in learning about neurodiversity in a way that is accessible\, thoughtful\, and rooted in dignity. \nWhat to expect\n\nA podcast with around 125 summarized books about neurodiversity\nAccessible introductions to important books\, authors and ideas\nTopics including autism\, ADHD\, dyslexia\, masking\, burnout\, education\, work\, identity\, justice and pride\nThere are about 100 english language books summarized\, and about 35 dutch and flemish important books.\nContrasting remars about the works of the author\, in relation to the ideology of the Neurodiversity Foundation.\nA way to discover which books you may want to read more deeply\nWhile most parts in the production proces are done manually\, the final generation of podcast was ai-supported\, and may therefore have mistakes or misinterpretations.\nA growing resource for neurodivergent people\, allies\, educators\, professionals and organisations\nA grand plan of democratizing knowlegde and sharing the deepest wisdoms from important authors and advocates\nA link to where to buy the book\, in each description\nAnd astounding frequent use\, of some of our favorite sayings\, like ‘It Really Is”.\n\nListen on Spotify\nYou can listen to Neurodiversity Deepdive on Spotify here: \nListen to Neurodiversity Deepdive on Spotify \nEvery brain is beautiful. Every story matters. Every book can open a new door\, so if we won’t read: Let’s talk about it.

DESCRIPTION:Vrijdag 12 juni 2026 | 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nLeer varen op de krachten en uitdagingen van jouw unieke brein is a free online webinar by Linsey Berkhout\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session focuses on how people can better understand their own brain and learn to work with both its strengths and its challenges. The webinar asks how you can let your brain work for you\, instead of constantly trying to force yourself into ways of working that do not fit. \nParticipants are invited to reflect on energy\, strengths\, communication and practical strategies for navigating a dynamic work context. The session is about understanding your own “manual”: what costs energy\, what gives energy\, what your strong points are\, and how you can communicate those more clearly. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride also begins with self-understanding. For neurodivergent people\, learning how your own brain works can be an important step toward less shame\, better boundaries\, more effective collaboration and more sustainable participation at work. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Leer varen op de krachten en uitdagingen van jouw unieke brein\nDate: Friday 12 June 2026\nTime: 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: Dutch\nSpeaker: Linsey Berkhout\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nInsight into recognising and redirecting personal energy drains\nReflection on your own energy management and how to navigate it more effectively\nWays to recognise and communicate your unique strengths\nPractical tips and tools for thriving in a dynamic context\nA strengths-based session about working with your brain instead of against it\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

DESCRIPTION:Vrijdag 12 juni 2026 | 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nZo boost je je neurodiversiteitsnetwerk is a free online webinar by Merlijne Vermeulen\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session focuses on neurodiversity networks inside organisations: how they can be built\, strengthened and sustained over time. It asks what ambassadors need in order to stay involved\, avoid losing momentum\, and create more impact with a network. \nThe webinar is especially relevant for organisations that already have a neurodiversity network\, employee resource group\, ambassador group or informal community\, as well as for people who are thinking about starting one. \nThe session connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because community does not only happen outside organisations. DESCRIPTION:Donderdag 11 juni 2026 | 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nDe 5 belangrijkste inzichten over neurodiversiteit op de werkvloer is a free online webinar by Saskia Schepers\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this session\, Saskia shares key lessons from daily lectures\, trainings and practice with organisations. The webinar looks at what has changed over the past five years in the conversation about neurodiversity at work\, and what organisations are learning as they move from awareness toward real neuroinclusion. \nThe session focuses on practical insights from the field: how organisations are doing compared with others\, which assumptions still get in the way of effective collaboration\, and what kinds of shifts are proving useful in practice. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because it focuses on the workplace as one of the places where neurodivergent people need more than individual adjustments. It invites organisations to stop trying to “fix” people and start improving the context in which people work together. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: De 5 belangrijkste inzichten over neurodiversiteit op de werkvloer\nDate: Thursday 11 June 2026\nTime: 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: Dutch\nSpeaker: Saskia Schepers\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nLessons from five years of lectures\, trainings and workplace practice\nInsights from the Dutch Benchmark Neuro-inclusion\nReflection on common misconceptions about neurodiversity at work\nConcrete shifts and practical examples that help organisations collaborate more effectively\nA workplace-focused contribution to the wider Neurodiversity Pride Week conversation\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

Juist daarom maken we Neurocafé zo laagdrempelig mogelijk. Alleen komen is helemaal oké.
