SUMMARY:Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2026 | Birmingham\, United Kingdom | BST / UK time \nThe Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026 is a citywide education event organised through Birmingham City Council’s education and inclusion work. The conference brings together school leaders\, governors and education partners to focus on attendance\, inclusion\, belonging and the conditions that help children and young people take part in school life. \nThe conference takes place during Neurodiversity Pride Week and connects strongly with the wider question of what inclusion looks like in real schools\, classrooms and communities. While it is not specifically a neurodiversity event\, its focus on inclusive education\, pupil voice and barriers to participation makes it relevant to people who care about neurodivergent children and young people being able to belong\, learn and thrive. \nA central part of the wider conference activity is the invitation for Birmingham schools and settings to show what inclusion looks and feels like through pupils’ eyes. Contributions from schools are intended to be showcased as part of the Attendance & Inclusion Conference\, helping make the voices and experiences of children and young people visible within the conversation about inclusion. \nThe conference is also connected to Birmingham’s broader education work around attendance and inclusion\, including the launch of the Inclusion Charter and Core Offer. These themes are especially relevant for schools and settings working to create cultures where pupils are not only present\, but welcomed\, understood and supported. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026\nDate: Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2026\nLocation: St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park\, Cattell Road\, Birmingham\, B9 4RL\nTime zone: BST / UK time\nOrganiser: Birmingham City Council education and inclusion teams\nAudience: school leaders\, governors\, education professionals and partners involved in attendance and inclusion\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA citywide conference focused on attendance\, inclusion and belonging in education\nSpace for schools and settings to share what inclusion looks like in practice\nA focus on pupils’ perspectives and lived experience within school communities\nDiscussion of Birmingham’s wider inclusion work\, including the Inclusion Charter and Core Offer\nAn opportunity for education leaders and partners to reflect on how schools can remove barriers to participation\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people working in education\, school leadership\, inclusion\, SEND\, attendance\, safeguarding\, youth advocacy\, family support\, pupil voice and local authority education strategy. \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:June 17th: Replay & Closing Day
DESCRIPTION:Replay & Closing Day\nWednesday 17 June 2026 | Online | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Week \nReplay & Closing Day is the final day of Neurodiversity Pride Week: a day to look back\, reconnect\, share highlights\, and revisit the voices\, stories and ideas that shaped this year’s celebration. \nAfter a week of science\, solidarity\, gaming\, dancing\, activities\, flag hoistings\, keynotes\, community events and Pride celebrations\, Replay Day brings the movement together again online. It is a calmer closing space where people can watch recordings\, discover moments they missed\, and feel connected to the wider global Neurodiversity Pride community\, as we’re all watching it at the same time. \nThroughout the day\, we stream ND Pride-related speeches\, workshops\, interviews\, talks and community content online. You can join for a few minutes\, watch a full session\, return throughout the day\, or simply keep the stream open as a gentle companion while you reflect on the week. \nReplay & Closing Day is also an invitation to rest\, to relax. Pride is not only about visibility and celebration; it is also about integration\, reflection and care. After the energy of Neurodiversity Pride Day itself\, this final day offers a softer landing: time to remember what happened\, honour what was shared\, and carry the message forward. \nWhat to expect\n\nA 24-hour online stream of ND Pride-related content\nRecordings of speeches\, workshops\, talks and community moments\nHighlights from Neurodiversity Pride Week around the world\nA calmer closing space after the main Pride celebrations\nA chance to discover sessions and stories you may have missed\nTime to reflect on neurodivergent pride\, dignity\, self-acceptance and community\n\nWho is it for?\nReplay & Closing Day is for neurodivergent people\, family members\, friends\, allies\, educators\, researchers\, professionals\, organisations and anyone who wants to learn from the voices and experiences shared during Neurodiversity Pride Week. \nYou do not need to attend the full stream. You are welcome to join in the way that works for you: watch one video\, follow several sessions\, return later\, listen quietly\, share with others\, or simply take in the feeling of being part of a global celebration of neurodivergent minds. While the stream may continue broadcasting longer that 24 hours\, the official end of this day\, is 23.59 in each timezone. \nClosing the week\, carrying it forward\nNeurodiversity Pride Week may close on 17 June\, to make space for our friends celebrating Autistic Pride Day on the 18th\, but the meaning of the week continues. The recordings\, stories and ideas shared on Replay & Closing Day are reminders that neurodivergent people are not alone\, that our minds are part of human diversity\, and that every act of visibility can help build a more accepting world. \nEvery brain is beautiful. Every story matters. Every moment of pride can become part of something larger.

SUMMARY:Men's ADHD Online Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 17 June 2026 | 19:30 – 20:30 IST / Dublin time | Online \nMen’s ADHD Online Support Group is an online peer support space hosted by ADHD Ireland\, created for men with ADHD to connect\, talk\, share experiences and feel understood in a low-pressure digital setting. \nThe group offers a dedicated space for conversation around ADHD in adult life. It may be especially meaningful for people who want to speak with others who understand the realities of living with ADHD: distraction\, emotional intensity\, motivation\, work pressure\, relationships\, self-doubt\, late diagnosis\, masking\, burnout\, or the feeling of having carried things alone for too long. \nFor many men with ADHD\, support can be hard to access. Some may have learned to minimise their struggles\, hide overwhelm\, avoid talking about mental health\, or push through systems that do not recognise how ADHD can shape everyday life. A peer group like this can create room for honesty\, validation and practical exchange\, without needing to perform confidence or have everything figured out. \nThis event connects well with the closing day of Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only about large public moments. It is also about quieter spaces of recognition: people meeting each other\, naming their experiences\, finding community\, and realising they are not alone. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Men’s ADHD Online Support Group\nDate: Wednesday 17 June 2026\nTime: 19:30 – 20:30 IST / Dublin time\nLocation: Online via Zoom\nOrganiser: ADHD Ireland\nAudience: men with ADHD\, men exploring ADHD\, and people for whom a men’s ADHD peer-support space is relevant\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn online ADHD support group for men\nA low-pressure space for conversation and peer connection\nOpportunity to share experiences\, questions and practical tips\nA supportive setting for people who may be diagnosed\, self-diagnosed or exploring ADHD\nA community-based space connected to reflection\, validation and belonging\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for ADHD adults\, men exploring ADHD\, people navigating late diagnosis\, peer support organisers\, mental health professionals\, family members\, supporters\, and anyone interested in low-masking spaces where neurodivergent adults can connect honestly with others who understand. \nView ADHD Ireland events and registration information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community.
