SUMMARY:NEURODIVERGENTES: AUTISTAS (Online)

SUMMARY:From Broke to Woke: A Skills Series Tracey Pinder | The School of Life SA
DESCRIPTION:Joining Tracey Pinder for Neurodiversity Pride Week is not just an event — it is an encounter with the skills that change everything. Over eight days from 11 to 17 June 2025\, Tracey takes her international audience from raw\, honest testimony to practical\, life-changing tools in a daily 45-minute coaching series built around the six skills that carried her from undiagnosed ADHD\, addiction\, and burnout to building a thriving\, SACE-accredited professional development organisation. Each session dives deep into one transformational skill — Self-Awareness\, Emotional Regulation\, Setting Boundaries\, Asking for Help\, Trusting God’s Process\, and Managing Your ADHD Brain — combining neuroscience\, personal story\, live practice exercises\, and reflection prompts designed for the neurodiverse brain. The series opens on 11 June with Tracey’s keynote\, From Broke to Woke\, and closes on 17 June with a full-series celebration and commissioning that sends every participant home with a 6-skill toolkit\, an anchor phrase for each skill\, and the unshakeable conviction that the same brain that broke them is the brain that can wake them. Whether you are newly diagnosed\, decades undiagnosed\, or simply someone who has spent too long fighting the brain you were born with\, this series was built for you.

SUMMARY:Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2026 | Birmingham\, United Kingdom | BST / UK time \nThe Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026 is a citywide education event organised through Birmingham City Council’s education and inclusion work. The conference brings together school leaders\, governors and education partners to focus on attendance\, inclusion\, belonging and the conditions that help children and young people take part in school life. \nThe conference takes place during Neurodiversity Pride Week and connects strongly with the wider question of what inclusion looks like in real schools\, classrooms and communities. While it is not specifically a neurodiversity event\, its focus on inclusive education\, pupil voice and barriers to participation makes it relevant to people who care about neurodivergent children and young people being able to belong\, learn and thrive. \nA central part of the wider conference activity is the invitation for Birmingham schools and settings to show what inclusion looks and feels like through pupils’ eyes. Contributions from schools are intended to be showcased as part of the Attendance & Inclusion Conference\, helping make the voices and experiences of children and young people visible within the conversation about inclusion. \nThe conference is also connected to Birmingham’s broader education work around attendance and inclusion\, including the launch of the Inclusion Charter and Core Offer. These themes are especially relevant for schools and settings working to create cultures where pupils are not only present\, but welcomed\, understood and supported. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Attendance & Inclusion Conference 2026\nDate: Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June 2026\nLocation: St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park\, Cattell Road\, Birmingham\, B9 4RL\nTime zone: BST / UK time\nOrganiser: Birmingham City Council education and inclusion teams\nAudience: school leaders\, governors\, education professionals and partners involved in attendance and inclusion\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA citywide conference focused on attendance\, inclusion and belonging in education\nSpace for schools and settings to share what inclusion looks like in practice\nA focus on pupils’ perspectives and lived experience within school communities\nDiscussion of Birmingham’s wider inclusion work\, including the Inclusion Charter and Core Offer\nAn opportunity for education leaders and partners to reflect on how schools can remove barriers to participation\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people working in education\, school leadership\, inclusion\, SEND\, attendance\, safeguarding\, youth advocacy\, family support\, pupil voice and local authority education strategy. \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:June 17th: Replay & Closing Day
DESCRIPTION:Replay & Closing Day\nWednesday 17 June 2026 | Online | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Week \nReplay & Closing Day is the final day of Neurodiversity Pride Week: a day to look back\, reconnect\, share highlights\, and revisit the voices\, stories and ideas that shaped this year’s celebration. \nAfter a week of science\, solidarity\, gaming\, dancing\, activities\, flag hoistings\, keynotes\, community events and Pride celebrations\, Replay Day brings the movement together again online. It is a calmer closing space where people can watch recordings\, discover moments they missed\, and feel connected to the wider global Neurodiversity Pride community\, as we’re all watching it at the same time. \nThroughout the day\, we stream ND Pride-related speeches\, workshops\, interviews\, talks and community content online. You can join for a few minutes\, watch a full session\, return throughout the day\, or simply keep the stream open as a gentle companion while you reflect on the week. \nReplay & Closing Day is also an invitation to rest\, to relax. Pride is not only about visibility and celebration; it is also about integration\, reflection and care. After the energy of Neurodiversity Pride Day itself\, this final day offers a softer landing: time to remember what happened\, honour what was shared\, and carry the message forward. \nWhat to expect\n\nA 24-hour online stream of ND Pride-related content\nRecordings of speeches\, workshops\, talks and community moments\nHighlights from Neurodiversity Pride Week around the world\nA calmer closing space after the main Pride celebrations\nA chance to discover sessions and stories you may have missed\nTime to reflect on neurodivergent pride\, dignity\, self-acceptance and community\n\nWho is it for?\nReplay & Closing Day is for neurodivergent people\, family members\, friends\, allies\, educators\, researchers\, professionals\, organisations and anyone who wants to learn from the voices and experiences shared during Neurodiversity Pride Week. \nYou do not need to attend the full stream. You are welcome to join in the way that works for you: watch one video\, follow several sessions\, return later\, listen quietly\, share with others\, or simply take in the feeling of being part of a global celebration of neurodivergent minds. While the stream may continue broadcasting longer that 24 hours\, the official end of this day\, is 23.59 in each timezone. \nClosing the week\, carrying it forward\nNeurodiversity Pride Week may close on 17 June\, to make space for our friends celebrating Autistic Pride Day on the 18th\, but the meaning of the week continues. The recordings\, stories and ideas shared on Replay & Closing Day are reminders that neurodivergent people are not alone\, that our minds are part of human diversity\, and that every act of visibility can help build a more accepting world. \nEvery brain is beautiful. Every story matters. Every moment of pride can become part of something larger.

This is an hour-long lecture of “Joyful learning – a lecture on coping\, meaning and motivation”\, which is originally a webinar held for students at Vestland University College. In the lecture I will go through: – joy of learning – intrinsic motivation – learning design – current cases – metacognition – neuroscience – self-efficacy – neurodiversity +++ “In the knowledge society\, people themselves are the most important input factor in employment. Investment in people’s knowledge and competence is the basis for future welfare and value creation\, and of great importance for individuals’ ability to realize themselves. The knowledge society requires that this resource be maintained and developed. This occurs primarily through the acquisition and use of new knowledge and competence throughout the life course. Knowledge development is occurring at an increasingly rapid pace. It is not new\, but it places increased demands on changes in competences\, both for the individual\, for the school\, for society and for employment.” \nNOU:2014:7 WELCOME!

SUMMARY:Hire Weird\, Win Big - Practical Benefits of Supporting Neurodiverse Talent
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 17 June 2026 | 11:00 AM PDT / Los Angeles & Vancouver time | Online \nHire Weird\, Win Big is an online session about the practical benefits of supporting neurodiverse talent in teams and workplaces. Presented by Candor Diversity Group\, the event challenges common assumptions about team management and invites leaders to think differently about what real diversity of thought requires. \nThe core message is simple and powerful: you cannot have diversity of thought without diversity of brains. If a significant part of the population is neurodivergent\, then management tools\, workplace norms and team structures need to account for different needs\, strengths\, communication styles and ways of working. \nThis session looks at neurodiversity not only as an inclusion topic\, but as a practical workplace reality. Teams are often expected to move faster\, solve more complex problems\, innovate under pressure and perform with fewer resources. But if the systems used to manage those teams are unhelpful or even harmful to neurodivergent employees\, organisations may be losing talent\, creativity\, insight and resilience that could otherwise help them thrive. \nThe event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because workplace inclusion is one of the places where neurodivergent pride becomes practical. Pride is not only about visibility; it is also about changing the systems where people work\, lead\, collaborate and contribute. Supporting neurodiverse talent means moving beyond awareness and toward environments where different brains are expected\, respected and designed for. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Hire Weird\, Win Big – Practical Benefits of Supporting Neurodiverse Talent\nDate: Wednesday 17 June 2026\nTime: 11:00 AM PDT / Los Angeles & Vancouver time\nEquivalent organiser time: 12:00 – 13:00 MST / Calgary time\nLocation: Online\nOrganiser: Candor Diversity Group\nCost: CA$25 + GST / Eventbrite ticketing\nAudience: leaders\, managers\, HR professionals\, DEI teams\, employers\, workplace culture teams\, neurodivergent professionals and anyone interested in building more effective neuroinclusive teams\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn online session about neurodiverse talent in the workplace\nA practical discussion for leaders and managers\nReflection on why common team management tools may not support all brains equally\nWorkplace-focused arguments for supporting neurodivergent employees\nA shift from neurodiversity as “awareness” toward neurodiversity as practical organisational design\nA useful contribution to conversations about work\, talent\, inclusion and leadership during Neurodiversity Pride Week\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people interested in neurodiversity at work\, leadership\, team management\, HR\, inclusive design\, workplace culture\, retention\, innovation and the structural benefits of supporting neurodivergent employees. \nView the event and registration information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:Webinar: What research reveals on how daily practices shape neurodivergent experiences
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 17 June 2026 | 13:00 – 13:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nWhat research reveals on how daily practices shape neurodivergent experiences is a free online webinar by Giovanna Calainho\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on neurodiversity at work. \nThis session explores how organisational policies and everyday workplace practices shape the experiences of neurodivergent people. Based on extensive research\, the webinar looks at what inclusion means in practice\, not only in policy documents or intention statements. \nThe session focuses on the daily details that can either include or exclude: routines\, expectations\, communication patterns\, management choices\, flexibility\, psychological safety and the way policies are translated into lived workplace reality. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because neuroinclusion is not only created by good intentions. It is shaped by what people experience every day: how meetings are run\, how feedback is given\, how flexibility is handled\, and whether people can participate without constantly masking or adapting themselves out of view. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: What research reveals on how daily practices shape neurodivergent experiences\nDate: Wednesday 17 June 2026\nTime: 13:00 – 13:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Giovanna Calainho\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nResearch-based insight into neurodivergent experiences at work\nReflection on how daily practices can include or exclude\nAttention to the gap between policy and lived experience\nPractical understanding of which workplace shifts can move the needle\nA research-informed contribution to the wider Neurodiversity Pride Week conversation\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for HR professionals\, DEI teams\, managers\, researchers\, workplace networks\, neurodivergent employees\, organisational development professionals and anyone interested in evidence-based neuroinclusion at work. \nView the webinar week and registration information here \n

SUMMARY:Webinar: Van aanpassen naar jezelf zijn - neurodiversiteit en cultuur
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 17 June 2026 | 14:00 – 14:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nVan aanpassen naar jezelf zijn: neurodiversiteit en cultuur is a free online webinar by Eddy Vorm\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on neurodiversity at work. \nIn this session\, Eddy Vorm shares a personal story about the tension between cultural expectations\, top-sport mentality and a neurodivergent brain. The webinar explores what happens when people learn to adapt in order to belong\, and how that adaptation can sometimes move them further away from who they really are. \nThe session reflects on the price of constantly adapting\, especially when cultural norms\, performance pressure and neurodivergent experience meet. It is a story about masking\, identity\, pressure\, belonging and the strength of returning to yourself. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is also about the movement from adapting to surviving\, toward being allowed to exist more fully as yourself. For neurodivergent people\, that can mean questioning which expectations are truly helpful\, and which ones have taught us to hide\, shrink or override ourselves. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Van aanpassen naar jezelf zijn: neurodiversiteit en cultuur\nDate: Wednesday 17 June 2026\nTime: 14:00 – 14:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: Dutch\nSpeaker: Eddy Vorm\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA personal story about neurodiversity\, culture and identity\nReflection on the tension between cultural expectations and a neurodivergent brain\nInsight into the price people may pay when they keep adapting to belong\nA conversation about top-sport mentality\, pressure and self-understanding\nAn invitation to reflect on the strength of returning to who you really are\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for neurodivergent people\, managers\, coaches\, HR professionals\, workplace inclusion teams\, people from multicultural contexts\, athletes\, educators and anyone interested in the relationship between culture\, performance\, masking and self-acceptance. \nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:Brush and Crush: Neurodivergent Social Event

SUMMARY:Men's ADHD Online Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 17 June 2026 | 19:30 – 20:30 IST / Dublin time | Online \nMen’s ADHD Online Support Group is an online peer support space hosted by ADHD Ireland\, created for men with ADHD to connect\, talk\, share experiences and feel understood in a low-pressure digital setting. \nThe group offers a dedicated space for conversation around ADHD in adult life. It may be especially meaningful for people who want to speak with others who understand the realities of living with ADHD: distraction\, emotional intensity\, motivation\, work pressure\, relationships\, self-doubt\, late diagnosis\, masking\, burnout\, or the feeling of having carried things alone for too long. \nFor many men with ADHD\, support can be hard to access. Some may have learned to minimise their struggles\, hide overwhelm\, avoid talking about mental health\, or push through systems that do not recognise how ADHD can shape everyday life. A peer group like this can create room for honesty\, validation and practical exchange\, without needing to perform confidence or have everything figured out. \nThis event connects well with the closing day of Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only about large public moments. It is also about quieter spaces of recognition: people meeting each other\, naming their experiences\, finding community\, and realising they are not alone. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Men’s ADHD Online Support Group\nDate: Wednesday 17 June 2026\nTime: 19:30 – 20:30 IST / Dublin time\nLocation: Online via Zoom\nOrganiser: ADHD Ireland\nAudience: men with ADHD\, men exploring ADHD\, and people for whom a men’s ADHD peer-support space is relevant\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn online ADHD support group for men\nA low-pressure space for conversation and peer connection\nOpportunity to share experiences\, questions and practical tips\nA supportive setting for people who may be diagnosed\, self-diagnosed or exploring ADHD\nA community-based space connected to reflection\, validation and belonging\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for ADHD adults\, men exploring ADHD\, people navigating late diagnosis\, peer support organisers\, mental health professionals\, family members\, supporters\, and anyone interested in low-masking spaces where neurodivergent adults can connect honestly with others who understand. \nView ADHD Ireland events and registration information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. The event is organised independently and may not be exclusively created for ND Pride.
