SUMMARY:NEURODIVERGENTES: AUTISTAS (Online)

SUMMARY:From Broke to Woke: A Skills Series Tracey Pinder | The School of Life SA
DESCRIPTION:Joining Tracey Pinder for Neurodiversity Pride Week is not just an event — it is an encounter with the skills that change everything. Over eight days from 11 to 17 June 2025\, Tracey takes her international audience from raw\, honest testimony to practical\, life-changing tools in a daily 45-minute coaching series built around the six skills that carried her from undiagnosed ADHD\, addiction\, and burnout to building a thriving\, SACE-accredited professional development organisation. Each session dives deep into one transformational skill — Self-Awareness\, Emotional Regulation\, Setting Boundaries\, Asking for Help\, Trusting God’s Process\, and Managing Your ADHD Brain — combining neuroscience\, personal story\, live practice exercises\, and reflection prompts designed for the neurodiverse brain. The series opens on 11 June with Tracey’s keynote\, From Broke to Woke\, and closes on 17 June with a full-series celebration and commissioning that sends every participant home with a 6-skill toolkit\, an anchor phrase for each skill\, and the unshakeable conviction that the same brain that broke them is the brain that can wake them. Whether you are newly diagnosed\, decades undiagnosed\, or simply someone who has spent too long fighting the brain you were born with\, this series was built for you.

SUMMARY:Accessibility Review Journey in Belgium by Uit met Autisme
DESCRIPTION:11-17 June 2026 | Belgium | CEST / Brussels time \nLanguage: Dutch \nA Day Trip Starts at Home is an accessibility-focused review journey by Stichting Uit met Autisme\, taking place during Neurodiversity Pride Week. The initiative highlights why clear information before a visit is not a luxury for autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors\, but often a condition for being able to take part independently. \nFor many people\, a day out begins at the entrance of a museum\, animal park\, attraction\, hotel or leisure location. For autistic people and people who are sensitive to sensory input\, the experience often begins much earlier: at home\, while trying to understand what the visit will be like. \nQuestions such as “How busy will it be?”\, “Will there be queues?”\, “Is there a lot of noise?”\, “Are there bright lights?”\, “Is there a quiet place?”\, “Where are the toilets?”\, “How clear is the signage?”\, and “Can I find reliable information beforehand?” can determine whether a visit feels possible\, stressful\, or impossible. \nDuring this review journey through Belgium\, Stichting Uit met Autisme will look at how leisure locations communicate accessibility\, sensory information and practical details before and during a visit. The focus is not only on what happens on site\, but also on how well visitors can prepare from home. \nThe foundation works with a structured audit approach\, looking at factors such as sound\, light\, crowds\, queues\, rest options\, signage\, hospitality\, toilets\, parking\, reception and pre-visit communication. The goal is not to shame locations\, but to make visible where information is missing and where reasonable changes could help more visitors participate independently. \nThis initiative connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is also about access to everyday life. SUMMARY:Webinar: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nNavigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain is a free online webinar by Pauline Alberts\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this session\, neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts shares practical insights on how to make your brain work for you. The webinar focuses on recognising your own patterns\, understanding what drains your energy\, and learning how to use your strengths more consciously in a dynamic work context. \nThe session invites participants to discover more of their own “brain manual”: what helps you focus\, what costs energy\, what your strongest qualities are\, and how you can communicate those strengths more clearly to others. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride also begins with self-understanding. For neurodivergent people\, learning how your own brain works can be an important step toward less shame\, stronger boundaries\, more effective collaboration and more sustainable participation at work. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Pauline Alberts\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nPractical insights from neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts\nWays to identify and redirect your personal energy drains\nReflection on your own energy management and how to navigate it effectively\nGuidance on recognising and communicating your unique strengths\nImmediately applicable strategies to thrive within a dynamic context\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:Webinar: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nThe essentials of Psychological Safety in teams is a free online webinar by Geertruyt Stokes\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session explores psychological safety in teams and asks how people can collaborate more effectively when different brains\, communication styles and working preferences come together. The central idea is that radical clarity can be one of the highest forms of empathy and safety. \nThe webinar looks at the roots of collaboration friction in mixed teams. Rather than softening every message or avoiding difficult conversations\, it focuses on how clarity\, honesty and structure can help people understand each other better and work together with less confusion. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because psychological safety is essential for neuroinclusive workplaces. Neurodivergent people cannot truly thrive in teams where they have to guess expectations\, hide confusion\, mask discomfort\, or fear being misunderstood when they communicate differently. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Geertruyt Stokes\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn introduction to the essentials of psychological safety in teams\nReflection on why radical clarity can create more safety than soft language\nInsight into the root causes of collaboration friction in mixed teams\nThree concrete moves to raise psychological safety this week\nA practical workplace session for teams that want to collaborate with more trust\, clarity and inclusion\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:ADHD and Confidence Support Group with Helen Unwin
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 13:00 – 14:30 BST / London time | Online \nADHD and Confidence Support Group with Helen Unwin is an online support group hosted by ADHD UK\, focused on ADHD\, confidence\, self-belief and the process of recognising your own strengths. \nThe session invites participants to share learning\, support each other\, and explore what confidence can mean for ADHD people. The group is hosted with Helen Unwin\, a confidence coach who helps people get back in control of their lives\, recognise their own strengths\, and set themselves up for success. \nFor many ADHD people\, confidence can be shaped by years of misunderstanding\, criticism\, masking\, missed support\, inconsistent performance\, or being told that they are “too much\,” “not trying hard enough\,” or “not living up to their potential.” A space like this can help people reflect on those experiences with more compassion\, while also building practical ways to recognise strengths and move forward. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only about public visibility. It is also about rebuilding self-trust\, unlearning shame\, finding language for your own experiences\, and being in spaces where ADHD people can be understood without needing to over-explain themselves. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: ADHD and Confidence Support Group with Helen Unwin\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 13:00 – 14:30 BST / London time\nLocation: Online virtual event\nOrganiser: ADHD UK\nHost: Helen Unwin\nCost: donation-based ticket\, with a suggested donation of £5\nAudience: ADHD people\, people exploring ADHD\, supporters\, family members\, professionals and community members interested in confidence and ADHD\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn online ADHD support group focused on confidence\nA space to share learning and support each other\nGuidance from confidence coach Helen Unwin\nReflection on strengths\, self-belief and getting back in control\nA supportive community setting for people with ADHD-related experiences\nA donation-based ticket model\, with access options for people who cannot donate\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people interested in ADHD\, confidence\, self-worth\, adult diagnosis\, emotional wellbeing\, self-advocacy\, masking\, shame\, and the process of recognising your own strengths after years of being misunderstood. \nView the event and registration information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:How to Join a Public Sector Committee (Neurodivergent Guide)
DESCRIPTION:The New Zealand Government needs people to serve on public sector boards and committees. We want to see more neurodivergent people applying and being appointed. These roles are paid according to the Cabinet Fees Framework and give us the chance to directly influence or make decisions\, putting Nothing About Us Without Us into practice. \nGetting onto your first public sector committee can be hard and take time. David\, Nicolina\, and Ollie will share their journeys\, what happens in the recruitment process\, and what it is really like to sit at the table. Then it will be open for participants to Ask Me Anything. We want neurodivergent people (like us) to feel confident putting their names forward for public sector committee roles. \n  \nDr Nicolina Newcombe (IHC) is Autistic with OCD. She currently serves on the Southern Health and Disability Ethics Committee and Fire and Emergency Local Area Committee. She has experience on the Oranga Tamariki Disability Advisory Group\, minute taking for the Enabling Good Lives Waikato Leadership Group\, and was appointed to the Lotteries Individuals with Disabilities Committee but had to turn it down due to her busy schedule. \nDavid Corner ONZM (IHC) is Autistic with intellectual disability. He currently serves on the Ombudsman Disability Advisory Group and was part of the Whaikaha Disability Employment Strategy Working Group. \nOllie Goulden (My Life My Voice) is ADHD with an unfolding journey into neurodivergent diagnoses. He also has spina bifida and uses a wheelchair. He currently serves on the National Enabling Good Lives Leadership Group.

SUMMARY:NEURODIVERSITY PRIDE FOR JOB SEEKERS
DESCRIPTION:Job search is a process full of dread for many people\, especially neurodivergent ones.\n“Who will take me\, with my challenges?”\n“What if I get rejected?”\n“How can I fit in their job description?”\, etc. \nAnd what if…..you look at it differently? \nNot Them versus You\, but more two parties looking for a good fit.\nThey have a job to offer\, and you can offer abilities\, vision\, talents\, creativity\,….. the gifts of being neurodivergent. In exchange for which you need good working conditions to let those gifts blossom. \nI want to offer you a different way to approach a job search.\nWhere you are empowered to take as much control as possible in a process that puts you at the centre. To be authentic\, and to select jobs on that basis. Not by adapting too much and masking who you are. But by thoroughly preparing each step so you feel more confident. With a tool to do job research in a softer way before even applying. \nYes\, a job search is a lot of work\, it takes time and effort. And the reward can be a job where you feel good\, where you can contribute and develop. \nThis workshop will be offered this time in the afternoon\, and at a slightly later date\, in the evening.

SUMMARY:Webinar: Breinmeesterschap Try-out
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 19:00 – 19:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nBreinmeesterschap Try-out is a free online webinar by Linsey Berkhout and Frank Jonker\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this live try-out\, participants experience part of the Breinmeesterschap programme through group exercises and self-reflection. The session offers a practical introduction to how people can better understand their own brain patterns and use that insight in collaboration with others. \nThe webinar focuses on direct experience rather than only theory. Through a core exercise from the programme\, participants are invited to reflect on their own ways of thinking\, responding\, working and interacting. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because neuroinclusion is not only about knowing that different brains exist. DESCRIPTION:🌈 Neurodiversity Pride Week 2026 \nRethinking Financial Wellbeing for Neurodivergent Adults\nLed by Emeka Ajogbe (Prosperiium) \n“You are not bad with money.” \nMany neurodivergent adults have spent years carrying stories about themselves that were never really true.\nThat they are irresponsible.\nThat they lack discipline.\nThat they cannot be trusted with finances. \nBut what if the issue was never a personal failing?\nWhat if financial challenges were shaped by executive functioning differences\, overwhelm\, burnout\, impulsivity\, people-pleasing\, inaccessible systems\, or years of navigating a world not designed for the way your brain works?\nAs part of Neurodiversity Pride Week\, this interactive workshop explores the relationship between money\, self-trust\, safety\, and identity.\nUsing anonymous polling and shared reflection\, we will explore experiences that many neurodivergent people carry privately: \n\nPretending to understand financial information when you didn’t.\nAvoiding money conversations because shame arrived first.\nSaying yes when you meant no.\nFeeling judged by systems that were never built with neurodivergent people in mind.\n\nTogether\, we will challenge common narratives and explore more compassionate alternatives: \n\n“I wasn’t bad with money. I was overwhelmed.”\n“That wasn’t irresponsibility. It may have been dysregulation\, executive overload\, or a system that didn’t fit.”\n“I didn’t fail at money management. I may never have been given tools that worked for me.”\n\nNeurodiversity Pride is about more than celebrating difference. It is about creating environments where neurodivergent people can thrive with dignity\, understanding\, and self-determination. \n📅 15 June 2026\n🕢 19:30 CEST\n📍 Online
