DESCRIPTION:Overview\nA celebration day on neuro-inclusive design with talks\, workshops and co-creation for more inclusive workplaces\, education and systems. \n\n\nAbout this event\nWhat if neuro-inclusion was not only something we talk about\, but something we can actually design? \nOn Thursday 11 June 2026\, we gather at the Provinciehuis in Antwerp for Designing Belonging: NeuroDesign Now Community Day — a free celebration day on neuro-inclusive futures\, creative practice and systemic change.\nThis is not a classical conference. It is a day for people who want to rethink how we learn\, work\, collaborate and belong. A day with talks\, stories\, design practices\, co-creation\, lived experience\, sharp questions and warm encounters. Together with designers\, educators\, neurodivergent professionals\, students\, parents\, social organisations\, creative practitioners\, policymakers and changemakers\, we will explore how design can help create environments where more people can participate\, contribute and thrive. \nWhy join?\nBecause neuro-inclusion needs more than awareness. It needs better tools. Better environments. Better conversations. Better systems. And people who are willing to design them together. \nExpect a day that is inspiring\, practical\, human and future-facing.\nFeaturing confirmed speakers and contributors \nThe day brings together a strong mix of international voices\, media perspectives\, lived experience\, design practice and systemic change\, with confirmed contributions from:\nBBC — inclusive design\, AI accessibility and how digital systems shape trust\, clarity and cognitive load\nVRT — media perspective on inclusion\, representation and accessible storytelling\nStudio Junctuur — neuro-inclusive workplaces and organisational design\nFermenta — creative community practices\nAWEN / Inclusively Wired — design tools for neuro-inclusive education\nAnn Ceurvels — lived experience\, talent and more human systems\nMario Major — keynote contribution\nAn Luyten — keynote contribution\nDutch Police / Politie Nederland — practice-based perspective on neurodiversity\, systems and inclusion \nWhat to expect\ninspiring keynotes and conversations\ninternational and local practice cases\ninteractive workshops and co-creation\ncreative tools and prototypes\nlived experience and professional insights\nspace for exchange\, networking and new collaborations\na warm\, accessible and low-pressure setting \nWho should join?\nThis day is for everyone who cares about neurodiversity\, inclusion\, design\, education\, work and social innovation. \nYou are especially welcome if you are a neurodivergent person\, student\, parent\, educator\, designer\, youth worker\, HR professional\, social entrepreneur\, policymaker\, researcher\, creative practitioner — or simply someone who feels that our systems can be more human\, more accessible and more imaginative. \nParticipation: Free\, registration required \nDoors open at 10:00. The programme starts at 10:30 and closes at 17:30. \nThe event will be in English and Dutch. Some sessions may be mainly in English\, others in Dutch\, but we will make sure the day remains accessible for both Dutch- and English-speaking participants.
