SUMMARY:NEURODIVERGENTES: AUTISTAS (Online)

SUMMARY:From Broke to Woke: A Skills Series Tracey Pinder | The School of Life SA
DESCRIPTION:Joining Tracey Pinder for Neurodiversity Pride Week is not just an event — it is an encounter with the skills that change everything. Over eight days from 11 to 17 June 2025\, Tracey takes her international audience from raw\, honest testimony to practical\, life-changing tools in a daily 45-minute coaching series built around the six skills that carried her from undiagnosed ADHD\, addiction\, and burnout to building a thriving\, SACE-accredited professional development organisation. Each session dives deep into one transformational skill — Self-Awareness\, Emotional Regulation\, Setting Boundaries\, Asking for Help\, Trusting God’s Process\, and Managing Your ADHD Brain — combining neuroscience\, personal story\, live practice exercises\, and reflection prompts designed for the neurodiverse brain. The series opens on 11 June with Tracey’s keynote\, From Broke to Woke\, and closes on 17 June with a full-series celebration and commissioning that sends every participant home with a 6-skill toolkit\, an anchor phrase for each skill\, and the unshakeable conviction that the same brain that broke them is the brain that can wake them. Whether you are newly diagnosed\, decades undiagnosed\, or simply someone who has spent too long fighting the brain you were born with\, this series was built for you.

DESCRIPTION:Vrijdag 12 juni 2026 | 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: Dutch \nLeer varen op de krachten en uitdagingen van jouw unieke brein is a free online webinar by Linsey Berkhout\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session focuses on how people can better understand their own brain and learn to work with both its strengths and its challenges. The webinar asks how you can let your brain work for you\, instead of constantly trying to force yourself into ways of working that do not fit. \nParticipants are invited to reflect on energy\, strengths\, communication and practical strategies for navigating a dynamic work context. The session is about understanding your own “manual”: what costs energy\, what gives energy\, what your strong points are\, and how you can communicate those more clearly. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride also begins with self-understanding. SUMMARY:Release Neurodiversity Deepdive Podcast
DESCRIPTION:Podcast Release: Neurodiversity Deepdive\nNow available on Spotify | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Week \nWe are excited to share the release of Neurodiversity Deepdive\, a new podcast by the Neurodiversity Foundation\, now available on Spotify. We’ve never shared about it\, but it’s allready ranked in the top 15 worldwide in the field of neurodiversity podcasts\, as we’ve created more than 100 podcasts for the public. \nNeurodiversity Deepdive is a growing audio library for everyone who wants to learn more about neurodiversity through books\, ideas\, lived experience\, research\, and community knowledge. In this podcast\, the Neurodiversity Foundation summarizes and explores around 125 books about neurodiversity\, making important insights more accessible to listeners around the world\, as seen through our neurodignity lens. In a world\, where we stopped reading what needs to be read\, the podcasts are conversations between 2 people resembling our neurodivergent teammembers at the HQ. \nThe podcast was created initially for internal volunteers to train themselves of the works of the most important authors in the field\, but will now be shared as a gift to the world\, for Peace & Soldarity Day. Its valuable for neurodivergent people\, allies\, educators\, professionals\, researchers\, parents\, students\, organisations\, and everyone who wants to better understand the field of neurodiversity. Each episode offers a way into one book\, one set of ideas\, or one perspective\, helping listeners discover new authors\, deepen their understanding\, and find language for experiences that are often overlooked or misunderstood. And we will grow the books to 250\, in upcoming years. \nNeurodiversity is a wide and fast-growing field. There are books about autism\, ADHD\, dyslexia\, giftedness\, Tourette Syndrome\, dyspraxia\, dyscalculia\, sensory experience\, masking\, burnout\, education\, work\, identity\, mental health\, culture\, justice\, and pride. Many of these books are powerful\, but not everyone has the time\, energy\, money\, or access to read them all. Neurodiversity Deepdive was created to help open that knowledge up. \nThis podcast is not a replacement for reading the books themselves. It is an invitation: to discover new voices\, to learn from neurodivergent authors and thinkers\, to understand the wider movement\, and to find the books that may matter most to you. \nFor Neurodiversity Pride Week\, the release of this podcast is also a celebration of neurodivergent knowledge. Our stories\, theories\, questions\, struggles\, insights\, and ways of making meaning deserve to be heard. By collecting these summaries in one place\, we hope to support more people in learning about neurodiversity in a way that is accessible\, thoughtful\, and rooted in dignity. \nWhat to expect\n\nA podcast with around 125 summarized books about neurodiversity\nAccessible introductions to important books\, authors and ideas\nTopics including autism\, ADHD\, dyslexia\, masking\, burnout\, education\, work\, identity\, justice and pride\nThere are about 100 english language books summarized\, and about 35 dutch and flemish important books.\nContrasting remars about the works of the author\, in relation to the ideology of the Neurodiversity Foundation.\nA way to discover which books you may want to read more deeply\nWhile most parts in the production proces are done manually\, the final generation of podcast was ai-supported\, and may therefore have mistakes or misinterpretations.\nA growing resource for neurodivergent people\, allies\, educators\, professionals and organisations\nA grand plan of democratizing knowlegde and sharing the deepest wisdoms from important authors and advocates\nA link to where to buy the book\, in each description\nAnd astounding frequent use\, of some of our favorite sayings\, like ‘It Really Is”.\n\nListen on Spotify\nYou can listen to Neurodiversity Deepdive on Spotify here: \nListen to Neurodiversity Deepdive on Spotify \nEvery brain is beautiful. Every story matters. Every book can open a new door\, so if we won’t read: Let’s talk about it.

DESCRIPTION:As part of Neurodiversity Pride 2026\, Neurodiversity Belgium invites you to an online presentation exploring what neurodiversity means in real life especially in workplaces\, teams\, and everyday systems.\n\nThis session moves beyond basic awareness and asks a more practical question:\n\nWhat changes when we stop seeing neurodivergent people as problems to manage\, and start looking at the environments that create unnecessary barriers to equity\, participation\, and belonging?\n\nDrawing on lived experience\, workplace examples\, and evidence-informed thinking\, this presentation will explore:\n\n• what neurodiversity means beyond labels\n• why “talent\, not defect” matters\n• how communication\, flexibility\, predictability\, and psychological safety shape participation\n• why inclusion is not just about individual accommodations\, but about better design for everyone\n• how workplaces can move from goodwill to meaningful structural change\n\nThis session is designed for anyone interested in neurodiversity\, equity\, inclusion\, leadership\, workplace culture\, advocacy\, and creating environments where different brains can genuinely belong.\nThis webinar will be delivered in English\, with French subtitles available.\n\nOnline event \nHosted by: Swiss Pride Team and NDB in collaboration with Neurodiverse Brains in the Workplace\nContact: events@neurodiversity.be\n\nRegister here: https://neurodiversity.be/events/every-brain-is-beautiful-neurodiversity-equity-belonging-at-work-12-june/\n\nFollow us on LinkedIn:\n(NDB) Neurodiversity Belgium\nNeurodiverse Brains in the Workplace\nNeurodiverse Brains in the Workplace Version française courte — flyer / réseaux sociaux\nEvery Brain Is Beautiful : neurodiversité\, équité et appartenance au travail\nChaque cerveau est beau : neurodiversité\, équité et appartenance au travail\nDans le cadre de la Neurodiversity Pride 2026\, Neurodiversity Belgium propose une présentation en ligne sur ce que signifie la neurodiversité dans la vie réelle — notamment dans les milieux professionnels\, les équipes\, la communication\, le leadership et les systèmes du quotidien.\nCette session invite à dépasser la simple sensibilisation pour poser une question essentielle : que changeons-nous lorsque nous cessons de vouloir « réparer » les personnes neurodivergentes\, et que nous commençons plutôt à concevoir des environnements plus équitables\, où différents cerveaux peuvent participer\, contribuer et appartenir pleinement ? SUMMARY:Understanding ADHD in Attorneys
DESCRIPTION:Friday 12 June 2026 | 12:00 – 13:30 ET | Online via Zoom \nUnderstanding ADHD in Attorneys is an online presentation by the Indiana State Bar Association\, focused on ADHD in the legal profession and the many ways it can shape professional life\, wellbeing\, self-understanding and mental health. \nThe session explores why there is a missed generation of women\, and sometimes men\, who were not diagnosed with ADHD earlier in life. For many professionals\, ADHD may only become visible later\, after years of anxiety\, depression\, burnout\, overwhelm\, self-doubt\, or the feeling of working much harder than others to meet the same expectations. \nThis event is especially relevant for attorneys\, legal professionals\, law students\, colleagues\, friends and family members who want to better understand ADHD in adulthood. It may also be meaningful for people who have ADHD\, people who think they may have ADHD\, and people who want to support ADHD peers with more knowledge and compassion. \nThe legal profession can be demanding\, deadline-driven and high-pressure. For ADHD attorneys\, this may create both challenges and hidden strengths: intense focus\, fast associative thinking\, creativity\, responsiveness in crisis\, and strong problem-solving skills\, alongside possible struggles with time management\, executive functioning\, emotional regulation\, anxiety\, or consistency under pressure. \nBy creating space to discuss ADHD openly in the context of legal work\, this session contributes to a wider movement toward professional environments where neurodivergent people are better understood\, supported and valued. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Understanding ADHD in Attorneys\nDate: Friday 12 June 2026\nTime: 12:00 – 13:30 ET\nLocation: Online via Zoom\nOrganiser: Indiana State Bar Association\nAudience: attorneys\, legal professionals\, law students\, ADHD adults\, colleagues and supporters\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA professional education session about ADHD in attorneys\nAttention to missed and late diagnosis\, especially among women\nDiscussion of the links between ADHD\, anxiety\, depression and related experiences\nInformation about diagnosis and support options\nA workplace-relevant lens on neurodiversity\, wellbeing and professional sustainability\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people interested in neurodiversity at work\, ADHD in adulthood\, legal wellbeing\, professional inclusion\, late diagnosis\, women with ADHD\, and the creation of workplaces where people do not have to struggle silently or mask their way through professional life. \nView the event and registration information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:From Local Practice to Global Impact: The Case for a Worldwide ISO Standard on Neuroinclusion
DESCRIPTION:Around the world\, organisations are investing in neuroinclusion. Yet many workplace initiatives still focus primarily on awareness\, diagnoses and accommodations\, while practical implementation remains a challenge. \nRegister Your Ticket Here!\nIn Denmark\, a multidisciplinary writing group has developed a practical workplace guide on neurodiversity in collaboration with Danish Standards. The guide takes a whole-organisation approach to neuroinclusion\, covering the entire employee journey—from recruitment and onboarding to retention\, career development and everyday collaboration. The focus is not on labels\, but on understanding individual strengths\, needs and work preferences through practical neuroprofiles and inclusive workplace design. \nIn this session\, Freja Rasmussen\, medical doctor and member of the Danish writing group\, will share key lessons from the Danish process and explore how neuroinclusion can move beyond awareness and compliance towards sustainable organisational practice. \nThe presentation will address: \n– How practical workplace adjustments can benefit everyone\, not only those with formal diagnoses.\n– Why neuroprofiles may be more useful than diagnostic labels in workplace settings.\n– How organisations can reduce stigma and create access without requiring employees to disclose or pathologise themselves.\n– The importance of involving neurodivergent employees as micro-experts in the design of workplace solutions.\n– How operational discipline\, clear processes and inclusive design can strengthen both employee wellbeing and organisational performance.\n– How practical guidance can help humanise workplaces and make inclusion part of everyday operations rather than a special initiative. \nThe session will conclude with a discussion of whether the time has come to develop an international ISO standard for neuroinclusion—and how individuals\, organisations\, advocacy groups and national standards bodies from different countries can contribute to shaping this agenda. \nThis is not only a presentation about a Danish initiative. It is an invitation to join a growing international conversation about how we can create workplaces where people do not need to be pathologised to access support\, where neurodivergent voices are involved in shaping solutions\, and where neuroinclusion becomes part of how well-run organisations operate by default.

SUMMARY:Drop-in Advice Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Drop-in Advice Clinic with Henry Shelford\nFriday 12 June 2026 | 13:00 – 14:00 BST / London time | Online \nThe Drop-in Advice Clinic with Henry Shelford is a virtual community advice room hosted by Henry Shelford\, ADHD UK Chairperson and Co-Founder. This informal online session offers people the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance around ADHD\, diagnosis pathways\, support systems and everyday challenges. \nThe clinic is designed as a practical\, approachable space for people looking for information about ADHD assessments\, UK diagnosis routes\, NHS ADHD processes\, ADHD understanding and knowledge\, and corporate or employment-related advice. It may be especially useful for people who are newly exploring ADHD\, waiting for assessment\, navigating support options\, or trying to understand what next steps may be available. \nFor many ADHD people and families\, finding clear information can be difficult. Questions about diagnosis\, waiting lists\, workplace support\, access to care\, and what ADHD means in daily life can become overwhelming\, especially when systems are confusing or slow. A drop-in advice clinic can offer a more human and direct way to ask questions\, learn from lived and professional knowledge\, and feel less alone in the process. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only about celebration. It is also about access to understanding\, support\, self-knowledge\, community guidance and the right to navigate life without shame. Spaces like this can help people move from confusion or isolation toward clarity\, confidence and connection. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Drop-in Advice Clinic with Henry Shelford\nDate: Friday 12 June 2026\nTime: 13:00 – 14:00 BST / London time\nLocation: Online virtual room\nOrganiser: ADHD UK\nHost: Henry Shelford\, ADHD UK Chairperson and Co-Founder\nAudience: ADHD people\, people exploring ADHD\, family members\, supporters\, employers\, professionals and community members seeking practical guidance\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn informal virtual drop-in advice clinic\nGuidance around ADHD assessments and UK diagnosis routes\nInformation about NHS ADHD processes\nSpace for questions about ADHD understanding and knowledge\nAdvice connected to employment\, workplace and corporate contexts\nA community-oriented space for people seeking practical next steps\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for people interested in ADHD support\, diagnosis pathways\, adult ADHD\, workplace inclusion\, family guidance\, and practical community advice during Neurodiversity Pride Week. \nView ADHD UK events and booking information here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:The Big Autism Festival | Het grote autismefestival
DESCRIPTION:Vrijdag 12 juni 2026 | 16.00 – 22.00 uur CEST / Amsterdam time | Pakhuis de Zwijger\, Amsterdam \nTaal: Nederlands \nHet grote autismefestival is een middag en avond over autisme\, neurodiversiteit\, werk\, seksualiteit\, boeken\, kunst\, muziek\, comedy en persoonlijke verhalen. SUMMARY:When hormones meet neurodivergence - A story of sensitivity\, intensity and hormonal plot twists from puberty to menopause
DESCRIPTION:Hormonal shifts can feel more intense for many neurodivergent women. \nHormonal changes are often discussed in relation to puberty\, menstrual cycles\, perimenopause and menopause. Neurodivergence is often discussed in terms of cognition\, emotion\, sensory processing\, masking and navigating environments that were not designed for neurodivergent people. \nBut for many neurodivergent women\, these experiences are deeply interconnected. Hormonal changes can affect mood\, focus\, sleep\, sensory sensitivity\, emotional regulation and nervous system stability – the same areas that may already be more sensitive in neurodivergence. \nThis practical session will explore the hormonal life of neurodivergent women\, from puberty to menopause\, bringing together perspectives from clinical psychology and functional medicine. \nTogether\, we’ll explore why hormonal changes can feel amplified\, including: \n\nPhysical factors – hormone fluctuations\, brain chemistry\, nervous system regulation\, sleep\, sensory sensitivity\, stress physiology\, digestion and energy\nPsycho-social factors – late diagnosis\, masking\, identity\, emotional regulation\, self-understanding\, relationships\, work\, overwhelm and the impact of not knowing you were neurodivergent earlier in life\n\nWe’ll also look at what can help: \n\nUnderstanding personal patterns across hormonal phases and life stages\nSupporting emotional regulation\, self-compassion and communication\nReducing sensory\, cognitive and emotional load where possible\nSupporting sleep\, nourishment\, nervous system regulation and overall capacity\n\nThe session will combine accessible science\, clinical experience and practical strategies throughout\, while acknowledging the complexity and individuality of neurodivergent women’s experiences. Expect an integrated and neurodiversity-affirming discussion focused on making sense of patterns\, reducing shame and exploring supportive approaches across both the mind and body. \n  \nPresented by Sally Mounir and Scotti McLaren – in collaboration with Neurodiversity Belgium \nSally is a licensed psychotherapist and registered member of the International Council of Psychotherapists in the UK. Her work is shaped by a multicultural background and a strong commitment to creating a safe\, respectful and non-judgemental space for clients. She takes a personalised\, holistic approach\, supporting people to better understand themselves and build practical tools for emotional wellbeing\, self-trust and growth. \nScotti is a Geneva-based functional medicine practitioner with a clinical focus on neurodivergence and women’s hormonal health. Her academic and clinical training spans neuroscience\, psychology\, nutritional science\, personalised nutrition and functional medicine. Known for her investigative approach\, Scotti connects systemic and cellular insights with everyday experience\, helping make sense of complex patterns in women’s brain\, body and hormonal health.
