And this year\u2019s theme \u2013 \u201cHow do you diverge?<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 asks each of us to consider the ways we step outside the norm, intentionally or otherwise.<\/p>\n

Neurodivergent Friends CIC (Neurodivergent Friends in Thanet, NDFT) is proud to present its (second) first edition of Thanet Neurodivergent Pride!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Neurodivergent Pride is an invitation \u2013 to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate all the ways we move differently through the world.<\/p>\n

Whether you identify as Neurodivergent, are exploring that possibility, or simply believe that people should be supported to be themselves, you are welcome here.<\/p>\n

This Pride is for everyone who has ever felt out of place in environments that expect people to fit into one narrow way of being, working, learning, or expressing.<\/p>\n

We estimate that as many as 40% of people in Thanet could be Neurodivergent<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 many of whom\u00a0don\u2019t know it yet<\/a>. But this isn\u2019t just about numbers or labels. It\u2019s about community, visibility, and creating spaces that are kinder to all of us. Because when we build spaces that truly include Neurodivergent people, we\u2019re also making things better for many others: those who are burnt out, overwhelmed, isolated, or simply tired of pretending everything\u2019s fine when it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

At NDFT, we understand and view Neurodivergence not as flaws, \u2018disorders\u2019,\u00a0 or problems to fix, but as identities, and valid ways of existing in the world \u2013 rich in insights, creativity, and complexity.<\/p>\n

So this year\u2019s theme \u2013\u00a0\u201cHow do you diverge?\u201d<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u2013 asks each of us to consider the ways we step outside the norm, intentionally or otherwise.<\/p>\n

How do we adapt? How do we resist? How do we connect?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Neurodivergent Pride isn\u2019t about being perfect. It\u2019s about being real. It\u2019s about showing up with curiosity, compassion, and care \u2013 for ourselves, and each other.<\/p>\n

Neurodivergents, non-Neurodivergents, questioning, curious, friends, neighbours, allies \u2013 join us. Neurodivergent Pride belongs to all of us.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Together, let\u2019s celebrate and continue to build a community where more people feel seen, supported, and have space to be and thrive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
