Neurodiversity Pride Day – University of Bedfordshire<\/strong> is a Neurodiversity Pride Day event bringing together academic, workplace and lived-experience perspectives to explore how more inclusive environments can be built for neurodivergent people.<\/p>\n

The event creates space for conversation about neuroinclusion, accessibility, leadership, customer experience and the everyday systems that shape whether neurodivergent people feel understood, supported and respected.<\/p>\n

One of the contributors is Isabella Hedges<\/strong>, representing Metro Bank UK<\/strong>. Isabella will share from her experience and passion for inclusion, with a focus on how organisations can support both customers and colleagues in more thoughtful, accessible and human ways.<\/p>\n

This event connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Day because inclusion is not only a principle or policy. It is something people feel in the way services are designed, how colleagues communicate, how customers are supported, and how organisations respond to different needs without judgement or unnecessary barriers.<\/p>\n

Many neurodivergent people encounter barriers in everyday systems: banking, education, healthcare, employment, public services and digital platforms. A conversation about corporate and customer inclusion can help organisations ask better questions: Who is expected to adapt? Whose needs are anticipated? Which processes create unnecessary stress? And what would it mean to design services and workplaces where more people feel they belong?<\/p>\n

By bringing together university, workplace and lived-experience perspectives, this event contributes to the wider Neurodiversity Pride Day movement: a movement rooted in dignity, self-acceptance, practical change and the recognition that different minds should not have to be hidden, corrected or excluded in order to participate.<\/p>\n
