SUMMARY:NEURODIVERGENTES: AUTISTAS (Online)

SUMMARY:From Broke to Woke: A Skills Series Tracey Pinder | The School of Life SA
DESCRIPTION:Joining Tracey Pinder for Neurodiversity Pride Week is not just an event — it is an encounter with the skills that change everything. Over eight days from 11 to 17 June 2025\, Tracey takes her international audience from raw\, honest testimony to practical\, life-changing tools in a daily 45-minute coaching series built around the six skills that carried her from undiagnosed ADHD\, addiction\, and burnout to building a thriving\, SACE-accredited professional development organisation. Each session dives deep into one transformational skill — Self-Awareness\, Emotional Regulation\, Setting Boundaries\, Asking for Help\, Trusting God’s Process\, and Managing Your ADHD Brain — combining neuroscience\, personal story\, live practice exercises\, and reflection prompts designed for the neurodiverse brain. The series opens on 11 June with Tracey’s keynote\, From Broke to Woke\, and closes on 17 June with a full-series celebration and commissioning that sends every participant home with a 6-skill toolkit\, an anchor phrase for each skill\, and the unshakeable conviction that the same brain that broke them is the brain that can wake them. Whether you are newly diagnosed\, decades undiagnosed\, or simply someone who has spent too long fighting the brain you were born with\, this series was built for you.

SUMMARY:Kindred Footing: A Walk & Talk for Neurodivergent Folk
DESCRIPTION:Sunday 14 June 2026 | BST / Yorkshire time | Yorkshire\, United Kingdom \nKindred Footing is a relaxed walk-and-talk meet-up for neurodivergent adults in Yorkshire\, created through a collaboration between Danny from Good Footing and Jules from Kindred Neurodiversity. \nThis outdoor gathering offers a calm\, friendly way for neurodivergent people to meet others\, move together\, talk\, listen\, and connect in a setting that may feel easier than a busy indoor social event. There is no need for a formal diagnosis to attend. If you identify as neurodivergent\, are exploring neurodivergence\, or are looking for a community space where you can be understood without needing to over-explain yourself\, this walk may be a meaningful place to start. \nKindred Footing brings together movement\, mindset\, connection\, community and coaching. Previous walks have taken place in beautiful outdoor spaces in Yorkshire\, and attendees have shared that they felt relaxed and welcomed into the group. The next events are planned for Sunday 14 June 2026 and Sunday 12 July 2026\, with the exact locations still to be confirmed by the organisers. \nThis event connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only expressed through big celebrations. Sometimes pride looks like walking beside someone who understands\, having a gentle conversation outdoors\, taking up space in the world without masking\, and finding community at a pace that feels human. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Kindred Footing: A Walk & Talk for Neurodivergent Folk\nDate: Sunday 14 June 2026\nTime: to be confirmed by the organiser\nTime zone: BST / Yorkshire time\nLocation: Yorkshire\, exact location to be confirmed\nOrganisers: Good Footing & Kindred Neurodiversity\nAudience: neurodivergent adults\, including people without a formal diagnosis\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA calm outdoor walk-and-talk for neurodivergent folk\nA relaxed opportunity to meet like-minded people\nMovement\, conversation and connection in nature\nNo need for a formal diagnosis\nA community-led space created by neurodivergent organisers\nA gentler alternative to more intense social events\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for neurodivergent adults\, people exploring neurodivergence\, local community members in Yorkshire\, people who prefer outdoor connection\, and anyone looking for a calmer way to meet others during Neurodiversity Pride Week. \nView the Kindred Footing event information here \n  \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community. SUMMARY:Rethinking Love: Why It Feels So Intense (Neurodivergence\, Attachment & Romantic Patterns)
DESCRIPTION:Love is often explained using simple ideas like attachment styles or communication patterns. But for many people\, especially those who are neurodivergent\, these explanations don’t fully capture what relationships actually feel like. \nWhy does love feel intense\, overwhelming\, or confusing at times? \nWhy do some people attach quickly\, pull away suddenly\, or overthink every interaction? \nAnd why does “healthy love” sometimes feel unfamiliar or even unsafe? \nThis session offers a different way of understanding relationships\, one that looks at how the brain\, the nervous system\, and lived experiences shape the way we connect. \nDrawing from neuroscience\, trauma-informed perspectives\, and emerging frameworks such as the Neurodivergent Romantic Trajectories Model™ (NRTM) and Neurodivergent Attachment Theory (NAT)\, we will explore: \nWhy love can feel “too much” or difficult to navigate \nHow neurodivergence influences emotional intensity\, connection\, and communication \nThe difference between trauma-based patterns and neurodivergent ways of relating \nHow relationship patterns unfold over time\, not just as fixed “attachment styles” \nThis is not a space for labels or diagnosis\, but for understanding. \nWhether you are neurodivergent\, exploring your relationship patterns\, or simply curious about how people experience love differently\, this session invites you to see connection through a more compassionate and informed lens.

SUMMARY:Yearly online conference Neurodiversity Pride Belgium
DESCRIPTION:Our morning program (English)\n\n10:00 Welcome – Host: Dietrich Moerman\n10:05–10:30 Pete -TheWiz- Moens – InclusiMates: Less Guesswork\, More Understanding\n\nTake-away: When we stop forcing people to mask or conform and start intelligently adapting the environment\, we unlock talent\, foster peace of mind\, and create genuine connection.\nSummary:\nPete’s presentation starts with a simple yet transformative insight: many neurodivergent individuals don’t struggle because of a lack of ability\, but because their environment isn’t calibrated to how their brains actually work.\nHe’ll take you through his personal journey as a late-diagnosed Autistic with ADHD\, and how that experience shifted my perspective on work\, communication\, and community. We’re moving away from “deficit-based thinking” and focusing instead on potential.\nWith **InclusiMates**\, he demonstrates how to make that transition concrete: moving from “fitting into the system” to “building a system that adapts to people.” Through practical tools—like personal user manuals\, QR codes\, and streamlined communication principles—we make invisible needs visible. This allows people to thrive without having to constantly explain themselves.\n\n\n10:45–11:10 Carla Havermans (A Divergent Design) – Making space for neurodivergent talent\n\nTake-away: In the right environment\, a neurodivergent brain doesn’t just function—it thrives. When the context is supportive\, the unique strengths of neurodiversity become a powerful driver for success.\nSummary:\nAs a neurodivergent entrepreneur and coach\, Carla spent years trying to fit into systems that simply weren’t designed for her. Like so many others\, she became an expert at **masking**: adapting\, performing\, and functioning according to societal expectations—usually at the expense of her own energy\, confidence\, and well-being.\nToday\, in her work with neurodivergent adults and organizations\, she sees the same pattern repeated: an incredible amount of talent goes untapped\, simply because the environment isn’t aligned with how people actually think and work.\nIn this talk\,she weaves her personal journey together with professional insights to show that neurodivergence isn’t a problem to be fixed. It is a strength that flourishes when we make room for different ways of thinking. We are shifting the focus from **”masking to fit in”** to **”creating spaces where people can be themselves.”** This shift is the key to unlocking not just peace of mind and confidence\, but also unparalleled creativity and innovation.\nYou will leave with a fresh perspective on neurodiversity: not as a limitation\, but as a significant asset for both individuals and organizations—provided the context is right.\n\n\n11:30 Closing words by our host\n\nOns namiddagprogramma (Nederlands)\n\n13:00 Welkom door onze host Dietrich Moerman\n13:05–13:30 Daphné De Troch – Waarom normaal niet werkt\n\nTake-away: Ontdek waarom het ook voor jou\, jouw team en/of jouw bedrijf goed is om uit de comfortzone te stappen en nieuwe wegen te bewandelen.

SUMMARY:Neurodiversity Belgium - Connect Club – Hiking Group Meet Up
DESCRIPTION:Neurodiversity Pride Week Celebration\n\nTo celebrate Neurodiversity Pride Week in June\, our Connect Club and the NDB Hiking Group are joining together for a relaxed community walk through the green surroundings of Watermael-Boitsfort / Bosvoorde Brussels\, near the Forêt de Soignes / Zoniënwoud on 14 June 2026. \n\nThis event is open to neurodivergent people\, families\, friends\, allies\, children\, adults\, and well-behaved dogs. It is a gentle opportunity to connect\, move\, talk\, stim\, walk quietly\, or simply spend time outdoors alongside others in a neurodiversity-affirming space.\n\nThe walk will start at 13:00 and will finish back at the starting point. The trail is not paved\, but it is clearly marked and fairly level.\n\nMeeting point:\nWe will meet at the entrance to Tournay-Solvay Park\, closest to the Boitsfort/Bosvoorde tram stop on tram 8.\nThe meeting point is also around 200 metres from Boitsfort/Bosvoorde train station.\n\nPlease note:\nThis is not the same as Watermael train station\, so do check your route before travelling.\n\n\nAbout the NDB Hiking Group\n\nThe Neurodivergent Hiking Group offers guided walks for neurodivergent people and their families in and around Brussels. The regular hikes usually take place on the first Sunday of each month\, although there may occasionally be changes when guides are unavailable or when special events are planned. Our walks are free to attend.\n\nSign-up\n\nPlease sign up via our Events Page where possible here:\nhttps://neurodiversity.be/events/connect-club-hiking-group-meet-up/\n\nYou may also turn up on the day if you already know the meeting point and time\, but we kindly ask that you do not leave registration or questions until the day itself. On the day of a hike\, our guides usually have limited time to respond to messages especially with excited children\, dogs\, and wonderfully busy brains in motion.\n\nPlease let us know in advance if you have any access needs or anything that would help you feel more comfortable joining. As this will be a combined event\, dogs\, children and adults of all ages will attend.\n\nHow to recognise your guide:\n\nOur regular hiking guide is Jon\, who is recognisable by his glasses\, ponytail\, and beard.\n\nWe hope you can join us for this Neurodiversity Pride Week 2026 celebration — building social connections on the hoof.!!\n\nNDB Events Team

SUMMARY:Neurodance Preparty
DESCRIPTION:Neurodance Preparty – Moonwyrm on Twitch\nSunday 14 June 2026 | 2:00-4:00 PM Central US time / 21:00-23:00 CEST | Online: \nJoin the Neurodance Preparty here \nLanguage: Mostly music; chat language may vary \nNeurodance Preparty is a two-hour online music session with Moonwyrm\, streamed live on Twitch as part of the build-up to Neurodiversity Pride Day 2026. \nThis preparty is a smaller\, simpler version of the World Neurodance: one DJ\, one Twitch channel\, two hours of music\, movement and neurodivergent joy. It is a chance to warm up for ND Pride Week\, test the stream together\, and enjoy a shared online dance moment before the full Neurodance World DJ Marathon begins on Neurodiversity Pride Day. \nNeurodance is about dancing in your own way. You can dance wildly\, gently\, visibly\, quietly\, with others\, alone in your room\, seated\, stimming\, listening\, resting\, or simply being present with the music. There is no correct way to join. The point is not performance. The point is connection\, rhythm\, movement\, joy and the freedom to celebrate neurodivergent pride in a way that fits your body and your brain. \nThis preparty is also a live technical test for the official Neurodance page. During the session\, visitors can try the embedded Twitch player\, the chat preview\, the readable chat popout\, and the scroll-safe mini-player. If everything works well during this preparty\, the same setup will support the full Neurodance World DJ Marathon. \nMoonwyrm has played an important role in growing Neurodance into a global online celebration. Since 2023\, Moonwyrm\, together with Sir_no0ob and the Wyrmling community\, has helped shape the ND Pride Raid Train into a joyful international gathering of neurodivergent DJs\, dancers and listeners across time zones. \nThis event connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Day because pride does not always need a stage or a speech. Sometimes pride is music. Sometimes it is movement. Sometimes it is letting your body respond in the way it wants to. Sometimes it is joining a chat\, opening a stream\, or dancing privately while knowing that others around the world are celebrating too. \nProgramme\n\n14 June 2026: Neurodance Preparty\nDuration: 2-hour Twitch set\nDJ / channel: Moonwyrm\nFormat: live online music stream with Twitch chat\n\nTimezone guide\n\nCentral US time / CDT: Sunday 14 June\, 2:00-4:00 PM\nUTC: Sunday 14 June\, 19:00-21:00\nAmsterdam / CEST: Sunday 14 June\, 21:00-23:00\nNew York / EDT: Sunday 14 June\, 3:00-5:00 PM\nKyiv / EEST: Sunday 14 June\, 22:00-00:00\nHong Kong / HKT: Monday 15 June\, 03:00-05:00\nAuckland / NZST: Monday 15 June\, 07:00-09:00\n\nPractical information\n\nEvent: Neurodance Preparty\nDJ / streamer: Moonwyrm\nDate: Sunday 14 June 2026\nTime: 2:00-4:00 PM Central US time / 21:00-23:00 CEST\nLocation: online\nPlatform: Twitch\nChannel: @moonwyrm\nPart of: Neurodance / Neurodiversity Pride Day 2026\nOrganiser: Neurodiversity Pride Day / Neurodance team\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA two-hour online Neurodance preparty with Moonwyrm\nMusic\, movement\, chat and neurodivergent joy\nA low-pressure way to join from home\, alone or with others\nA chance to test the Twitch player\, chat popout and mini-player setup\nA warm-up moment before the full World Neurodance 2026 programme\nFreedom to dance\, stim\, listen\, rest or participate in your own way\n\nThis event may be especially relevant for neurodivergent people\, Twitch communities\, music lovers\, dancers\, stimmers\, gamers\, ND Pride supporters\, and anyone looking for an online\, movement-based way to warm up for Neurodiversity Pride Day. \nJoin the Neurodance Preparty here \nVisit the World Neurodance 2026 page here

SUMMARY:Neuroqueer Peer Support Circle: Reclaiming Space\, Selfhood & Belonging
DESCRIPTION:Neuroqueer Peer Support Circle: Reclaiming Space\, Selfhood & Belonging\nAs part of Neurodiversity Pride Week 2026\, NDB is relaunching our Neuroqueer Peer Support Circle\, an online peer-led space for neurodivergent people who are also queer\, trans\, non-binary\, gender-expansive\, questioning\, or exploring the intersections between neurodivergence\, identity\, gender\, sexuality\, embodiment\, and belonging.\n\nThe term neuroqueer\, associated with the work of Nick Walker and others\, invites us to question the norms that shape how we are expected to think\, communicate\, relate\, move\, express gender\, and exist in the world. It is not only an identity label\, but also a practice: a way of exploring and challenging the “shoulds” around both neurocognitive and gendered ways of being.\n\nThis circle is a space to return to that original spirit: curiosity\, fluidity\, mutual support\, creativity\, and self-definition.\n\nTogether\, we will explore questions such as:\n\n• What does it mean to be neuroqueer?\n• How do neurodivergence\, queerness\, gender\, masking\, safety\, and self-expression interact?\n• What parts of ourselves have we had to hide\, translate\, soften\, or explain?\n• What helps us feel safe enough to be more fully ourselves?\n• How can peer support create spaces of shared power\, belonging\, and care?\n\nThis is not a therapy group and there is no expectation to share. You are welcome to participate actively\, listen quietly\, reflect privately\, keep your camera off\, use chat\, or simply arrive as you are.\n\nOur aim is to co-create a space that is affirming\, anti-pathologising\, trauma-aware\, and rooted in peer connection. We are not here to fix anyone. We are here to explore\, witness\, relate\, and build spaces where messy\, brave\, playful\, questioning\, contradictory\, and whole selves can belong.\n\nDate: Sunday 14 June 2026\nTime: 19:00 CEST / GMT+2 – 13:00 EDT / 10:00 PDT\nLocation: NDB – Online\nFormat: Peer-led support circle\nHosted by: NDB Events team\nContact : events@neurodiversity.be\n\nRegistration required to receive the Teams Link

SUMMARY:Accessibility Review Journey in Belgium by Uit met Autisme
DESCRIPTION:11-17 June 2026 | Belgium | CEST / Brussels time \nLanguage: Dutch \nA Day Trip Starts at Home is an accessibility-focused review journey by Stichting Uit met Autisme\, taking place during Neurodiversity Pride Week. The initiative highlights why clear information before a visit is not a luxury for autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors\, but often a condition for being able to take part independently. \nFor many people\, a day out begins at the entrance of a museum\, animal park\, attraction\, hotel or leisure location. For autistic people and people who are sensitive to sensory input\, the experience often begins much earlier: at home\, while trying to understand what the visit will be like. \nQuestions such as “How busy will it be?”\, “Will there be queues?”\, “Is there a lot of noise?”\, “Are there bright lights?”\, “Is there a quiet place?”\, “Where are the toilets?”\, “How clear is the signage?”\, and “Can I find reliable information beforehand?” can determine whether a visit feels possible\, stressful\, or impossible. \nDuring this review journey through Belgium\, Stichting Uit met Autisme will look at how leisure locations communicate accessibility\, sensory information and practical details before and during a visit. The focus is not only on what happens on site\, but also on how well visitors can prepare from home. \nThe foundation works with a structured audit approach\, looking at factors such as sound\, light\, crowds\, queues\, rest options\, signage\, hospitality\, toilets\, parking\, reception and pre-visit communication. The goal is not to shame locations\, but to make visible where information is missing and where reasonable changes could help more visitors participate independently. \nThis initiative connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is also about access to everyday life. Neurodivergent people deserve to visit museums\, attractions\, parks and leisure spaces without having to guess whether an environment will be manageable. Clear information\, predictability and sensory-aware communication can make the difference between staying home and being able to take part. For information to join or support\, especially for the media\, visit the website of the UitMetAutisme foundation. \nPractical information\n\nInitiative: A Day Trip Starts at Home – Accessibility Review Journey\nDates: between 11 and 17 June 2026\nDuration: clustered review trip of approximately 3-4 days\nLocation: Belgium\, route still being assembled\nTime zone: CEST / Brussels time\nLanguage: Dutch\nOrganiser: Stichting Uit met Autisme\nFormat: accessibility review journey / audit visits / possible media walk-along moments\nAudience: autistic people\, sensory-sensitive visitors\, leisure locations\, museums\, attractions\, tourism professionals\, accessibility advocates and media\n\nWhat to expect\n\nA review journey through Belgian leisure locations during Neurodiversity Pride Week\nAttention to autistic and sensory-sensitive visitors’ needs before and during a visit\nStructured audits looking at up to 57 accessibility and sensory-related parameters\nFocus on clear pre-visit information\, predictability and independent participation\nPossible media walk-along moments during selected audits\nA practical conversation about how museums\, attractions\, animal parks and other locations can become more accessible\n\nThis initiative may be especially relevant for people interested in autism\, sensory accessibility\, tourism\, museums\, cultural participation\, leisure access\, visitor information\, family outings\, disability inclusion and the practical conditions that make participation possible. \nRead the article about the review journey here \nRead more about the Uit met Autisme ticket test here \nThis event has been suggested as a relevant contribution to the Neurodiversity Pride Week programme by the community and UitMetAutisme is a wellrespected partner. SUMMARY:Webinar: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nNavigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain is a free online webinar by Pauline Alberts\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nIn this session\, neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts shares practical insights on how to make your brain work for you. The webinar focuses on recognising your own patterns\, understanding what drains your energy\, and learning how to use your strengths more consciously in a dynamic work context. \nThe session invites participants to discover more of their own “brain manual”: what helps you focus\, what costs energy\, what your strongest qualities are\, and how you can communicate those strengths more clearly to others. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride also begins with self-understanding. For neurodivergent people\, learning how your own brain works can be an important step toward less shame\, stronger boundaries\, more effective collaboration and more sustainable participation at work. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: Navigate the strengths and challenges of your unique brain\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 10:00 – 10:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Pauline Alberts\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nPractical insights from neurodiversity trainer and coach Pauline Alberts\nWays to identify and redirect your personal energy drains\nReflection on your own energy management and how to navigate it effectively\nGuidance on recognising and communicating your unique strengths\nImmediately applicable strategies to thrive within a dynamic context\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here

SUMMARY:Webinar: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams
DESCRIPTION:Monday 15 June 2026 | 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time | Online \nLanguage: English \nThe essentials of Psychological Safety in teams is a free online webinar by Geertruyt Stokes\, organised as part of the AllMindsThrive webinar week on ND Pride. \nThis session explores psychological safety in teams and asks how people can collaborate more effectively when different brains\, communication styles and working preferences come together. The central idea is that radical clarity can be one of the highest forms of empathy and safety. \nThe webinar looks at the roots of collaboration friction in mixed teams. Rather than softening every message or avoiding difficult conversations\, it focuses on how clarity\, honesty and structure can help people understand each other better and work together with less confusion. \nThis event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because psychological safety is essential for neuroinclusive workplaces. Neurodivergent people cannot truly thrive in teams where they have to guess expectations\, hide confusion\, mask discomfort\, or fear being misunderstood when they communicate differently. \nPractical information\n\nEvent: The essentials of Psychological Safety in teams\nDate: Monday 15 June 2026\nTime: 11:00 – 11:45 CEST / Amsterdam time\nLocation: Online\nLanguage: English\nSpeaker: Geertruyt Stokes\nOrganiser: AllMindsThrive\n\nWhat to expect\n\nAn introduction to the essentials of psychological safety in teams\nReflection on why radical clarity can create more safety than soft language\nInsight into the root causes of collaboration friction in mixed teams\nThree concrete moves to raise psychological safety this week\nA practical workplace session for teams that want to collaborate with more trust\, clarity and inclusion\n\nView the webinar week and registration information here
