Neurodiversity Pride Day at Radboudumc is a special programme organised by Samen Uniek: Netwerk voor Neurodiversiteit (SUNNI) to celebrate Neurodiversity Pride Day with colleagues at Radboudumc.

The programme brings together learning, experience, conversation and practical tools. Throughout the day, Radboudumc employees can take part in the ADHD Escape Room, attend the lecture The Power of Different Minds, and join the launch of a new neuro-inclusive guide for managers and employees.

The ADHD Escape Room offers an interactive way to experience what it can be like to have ADHD. In a playful setting, participants are invited to notice focus, distraction, pressure and attention in a different way, while working together to complete the challenge.

Later in the afternoon, philosopher Léon de Bruin and theatre instructor Sander Datema lead the lecture The Power of Different Minds. On Neurodiversity Pride Day, they explore neurodiversity as the fact that every brain works differently. Through a personal journey and conversation with the audience, the lecture touches on self-diagnosis, labels, stigma, challenges and unique talents.

The day closes with the launch of the neuro-inclusive guide: a practical tool for managers and employees to work together more effectively, with attention to neurodiversity, individual preferences, communication and collaboration.

This event connects strongly with Neurodiversity Pride Week because it brings neurodiversity into the workplace in a practical and human way. Pride is not only about visibility outside organisations; it is also about creating working environments where different minds are better understood, respected and supported.
