ADHD and Confidence Support Group with Helen Unwin
Monday 15 June 2026 | 13:00 – 14:30 BST / London time | Online
ADHD and Confidence Support Group with Helen Unwin is an online support group hosted by ADHD UK, focused on ADHD, confidence, self-belief and the process of recognising your own strengths.
The session invites participants to share learning, support each other, and explore what confidence can mean for ADHD people. The group is hosted with Helen Unwin, a confidence coach who helps people get back in control of their lives, recognise their own strengths, and set themselves up for success.
For many ADHD people, confidence can be shaped by years of misunderstanding, criticism, masking, missed support, inconsistent performance, or being told that they are “too much,” “not trying hard enough,” or “not living up to their potential.” A space like this can help people reflect on those experiences with more compassion, while also building practical ways to recognise strengths and move forward.
This event connects well with Neurodiversity Pride Week because pride is not only about public visibility. It is also about rebuilding self-trust, unlearning shame, finding language for your own experiences, and being in spaces where ADHD people can be understood without needing to over-explain themselves.
