Release Neurodiversity Deepdive Podcast
Podcast Release: Neurodiversity Deepdive
Now available on Spotify | Part of Neurodiversity Pride Week
We are excited to share the release of Neurodiversity Deepdive, a new podcast by the Neurodiversity Foundation, now available on Spotify. We’ve never shared about it, but it’s allready ranked in the top 15 worldwide in the field of neurodiversity podcasts, as we’ve created more than 100 podcasts for the public.
Neurodiversity Deepdive is a growing audio library for everyone who wants to learn more about neurodiversity through books, ideas, lived experience, research, and community knowledge. In this podcast, the Neurodiversity Foundation summarizes and explores around 125 books about neurodiversity, making important insights more accessible to listeners around the world, as seen through our neurodignity lens. In a world, where we stopped reading what needs to be read, the podcasts are conversations between 2 people resembling our neurodivergent teammembers at the HQ.
The podcast was created initially for internal volunteers to train themselves of the works of the most important authors in the field, but will now be shared as a gift to the world, for Peace & Soldarity Day. Its valuable for neurodivergent people, allies, educators, professionals, researchers, parents, students, organisations, and everyone who wants to better understand the field of neurodiversity. Each episode offers a way into one book, one set of ideas, or one perspective, helping listeners discover new authors, deepen their understanding, and find language for experiences that are often overlooked or misunderstood. And we will grow the books to 250, in upcoming years.
Neurodiversity is a wide and fast-growing field. There are books about autism, ADHD, dyslexia, giftedness, Tourette Syndrome, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, sensory experience, masking, burnout, education, work, identity, mental health, culture, justice, and pride. Many of these books are powerful, but not everyone has the time, energy, money, or access to read them all. Neurodiversity Deepdive was created to help open that knowledge up.
This podcast is not a replacement for reading the books themselves. It is an invitation: to discover new voices, to learn from neurodivergent authors and thinkers, to understand the wider movement, and to find the books that may matter most to you.
For Neurodiversity Pride Week, the release of this podcast is also a celebration of neurodivergent knowledge. Our stories, theories, questions, struggles, insights, and ways of making meaning deserve to be heard. By collecting these summaries in one place, we hope to support more people in learning about neurodiversity in a way that is accessible, thoughtful, and rooted in dignity.
